The NGCA Management Team is excited to announce that our first club paid century this year will be the Rescue 1 Century.

The course, which starts at the Social Circle High School in (you guessed it) Social Circle, is perfect for a club ride. Where is Social Circle….just out I20 east a little past Conyers and Covington and conveniently right off I20.

The gently rolling terrain passes through much of the same area as the Tony Serrano and the Covington Century.  It’s just likely to be nicer weather in May for this century than April Tony Serrano ride and much cooler than in August during the Covington Century.

I did the ride last year and the course was well marked and the roads had very little traffic.  The event is organized by the VeloAtlanta Cycling Club and they understand what it takes to produce a quality event.  The ride supports a great cause…check it out on their website at http://Rescue1century.com

We will provide our ride plan when the event is a little closer but we will have both metric and full century groups riding.
