All For One Century, Saturday, Oct 5, 7:30 AM
As we mentioned in the July notes, NGCA will be providing support for the All for One Century (Van Purser).   See the details below if you can help out.  But if you prefer to show your support by participating in the ride, we have that option for you as well.   In return for a contribution from the club, our members are eligible for a 50% discount code that can be applied to any distance you would like to do.   Right now, the cost for the century is listed at $45 making the cost to you $22.50 plus BikeReg fees.  The cost will be going up to $60 on August 15 so you may want to register now if you intend to ride. The code is set to expire at 11:59 PM on Wednesday 10/2.  Do keep this code private amongst the club.

All For One Century Support
The century ride in support of the Van Purser Foundation is on again for this year and scheduled for Oct 5.  NGCA will be supporting this ride in multiple ways, volunteering, riding and generally helping out in any way we can.   And we need your involvement.  Right now, Nello is looking for volunteers to be part of the team.  Please see his note below and respond to Nello if you can help.
From Nello: Van’s inspiration has been hard at work at the Van Purser Foundation in planning our signature event the “ALL FOR ONE 100” century ride.  In an effort to make this event one we can all take part in and benefit from we’d like to form volunteer teams.   With Van’s help we have come up with the “dream volunteer team”.  We need team members and team leaders of all skill types.  So as to not start any public fights over positions let’s just respond to me privately at nello@vanpurserfoundation.org.   We will need the following teams: route safety, registration, sag stops, merchandising, swag/like kind endorsements, finish food/bev, marketing/sponsorships,  and packet pickup.  Please join us by choosing a position now.  The Van Purser Foundation is: “Pulling Together To Assist Cyclists In Times Of Need”.  For more information on the foundation go to: VanPurserFoundation.org
