Cycle Alpharetta’s Assault on Burnt Mountain

Fancy a bit of climbing this weekend? We got an event for you…join the Cycle Alpharetta crew for their annual assault of Burnt Mountain, so named for the black igneous rocks that cap the otherwise lighter brown coloured mountain. Rides options of either 78 or 36 miles with different start locations but all end up at the top of Burnt Mountain.

The Cupcake Ride to Adairsville
Lock it in! We are all set for our first NGCA Signature Series Event for 2022 and it’s the Cupcake Ride to Adairsville. As many of you know, these events are for NGCA members only and are all inclusive events including great routes, planned rest stops and lunch after the ride; all paid for by NGCA. However, you must sign up to ride so we can plan for food and beverages. Details below: The route is on a very fun, low traffic and scenic route that starts at Dellinger Park, tours though the historic town of Kingston before heading north to Adairsville. Awaiting in Adairsville will be a selection of food and drinks from the Bradley Farms Bakery. Those calories will be burned off quickly on the climb out of 1 Adairsville and on the twisty up and down roads back to Cartersville.
